I am located in Atlanta - can I pick up my wig?
Not at this time, however we do have same day delivery! Order must be placed by 3 pm and included in our same day delivery inventory. This service is not available on Saturdays or Sundays.
How much is a WellCapped Membership? When will I be charged?
We leveled up our plans to make sure you can pick the best one that fits your needs. We currently have 2 plans: $96 to rent 1 wig each month or $90 to rent 1 wig each month and prepay for three months.
You will be charged for your first month at check out & every month after that you will be charged based on the delivery date of your wig.
Don't worry! We will send a reminder email one week prior to your due date. In addition, you may cancel your subscription at anytime without penalty.
Can I customize the wig?
All of our wigs are ready to wear! They have already been plucked, bleached, and the lace has been cut according to the industry standard. However if you still would like changes, feel free to do style the wig. Just be sure NOT to cut, color, or chemically change the texture of the hair.

How are the wigs sanitized?
Great question! At WellCapped, we take the sanitation of our products extremely seriously. Before a wig is sent out, it undergoes a stringent cleaning and sanitation process with the Hair Laundry ATL. Here’s a snapshot of our sanitation process:
- Partnership with The Hair Laundry Atlanta: We have partnered with the reputable Hair Laundry Atlanta to handle the sanitizing, cleaning, and restyling of each wig immediately after each use. Their team of professionals ensures that every wig is treated with the utmost care and expertise.
- Hospital-Grade Sanitization: We leverage botanical hospital-grade products in our cleaning process. This ensures that the wig is not just clean but sanitized to a medical standard, eliminating all bacteria and potential contaminants.
- Steam Sanitization: Following the cleaning process, each wig undergoes a secondary steam sanitization, a step that eradicates any residual contaminants and ensures the wig is fresh and clean for its next user.
- Quality Assurance: Before being packaged, our team, including skilled cosmetologists, scrutinizes each wig to confirm it meets our rigorous standards of cleanliness and quality.
- Individual Inspection: Lastly, we have an individual inspection to assure the utmost quality and cleanliness before it heads to you.
We go the extra mile to ensure every wig you receive from WellCapped is as good as new. You can trust in our process and the utmost quality and cleanliness of our products.

What happens if I damage my wig?
No need to worry about normal wear and tear damage to the wig. However, if the wig is damaged beyond repair, lost, or stolen, you will be charged full price of the wig.
I fell in love with my wig! Can I buy it?
Absolutely! Please email us at hello@wellcapped.com or chat us on the website to let us know that you would like to purchase your wig. We will get back to you within 24-48 hours with your discounted member price.
Membership Questions
How does my WellCapped Membership work?
You can choose from any one of our three options: $96/month to rent 1 wig each month, $90/month if you prepay to rent for three months with one delivery each month, or you can buy a new wig from us.
Once your rental period is complete, simply return your wig using the provided pre-paid mailing label and poly mailer that came in your WellCapped box. Shipping is always free!
How long can I keep my wig?
All of our plans currently come with a one month rental period. Soon we will add a two week rental option for event rentals.
Once your wig rental period is complete, return your wig using the prepaid UPS label and polymailer. Don't worry, we will remind you 1 week before it is due.

Can I purchase my membership today and start next month?
Your membership begins the date that you purchase your plan. We are unfortunately unable to edit billing dates or postpone start dates at this time.
Do I have to pay an extra fee to rent the wig?
Nope! The insurance fee is already included in your membership price.
About Our Wigs
Are the wigs 100% human hair?
Yes, absolutely! Our wigs are crafted using 100% premium human hair. This not only guarantees a natural look and feel but also allows you to style it just like you would with your own hair. We are committed to providing you with the luxury and quality you deserve, the WellCapped way.
Can I add heat to my wig?
Yes! Our 100% human hair wigs are designed to withstand styling tools such as flat irons, curling wands, and blow dryers. Feel free to style it to match your mood, outfit or occasion. However, just like natural hair, excessive heat styling can cause damage over time. To ensure the longevity of our luxury wigs, we recommend using a heat protectant spray and utilizing heat styling sparingly.
Can I customize my wig?

I am new to wigs - how do I put it on?
We’re so excited to get you WellCapped! All of our wigs are glueless and ready to wear, meaning you can install in less than 5 minutes. Here is a simple guide to help you get started:
- Prepare Your Natural Hair: Depending on your hair length and volume, you can either do cornrows, a low ponytail, or wrap it flat against your head.
- Wear a Wig Cap: Once your hair is flat and secure, put on a wig cap. This not only keeps your hair in place but also protects it. Don't worry if you do not own a wig cap; this step is optional.
- Put on the Wig: Hold the wig by its sides and gently place it on your head, ensuring that it aligns with your natural hairline. Our wigs come with adjustable straps for a perfect fit, making it easy to secure without any hassle.
- Style It: Once the wig is on, feel free to style it to your preference. You can part it in different ways, straighten or curl it to make it your own!

How do I know if my wig is sanitized?

What if my wig doesn't fit?
We use industry standard wig caps (medium) with adjustable bands for all of our units. However, we do we understand that some of our wigs still may not fit you perfectly. If your wig does not fit you, simply return your current wig and you will be able to select a new wig upon the UPS scan of your return.
Shipping & Returns
How do I return my order?
Returning your wig is a hassle-free process with WellCapped! We strive to make this process as smooth as possible for you. Just follow these simple steps:
- Prepare the wig: Place the wig back into the silk WellCapped drawstring bag to prepare for delivery.
- Package It Up: Place the packaged wig into the provided labeled poly mailer from your WellCapped box. We appreciate if you could ensure the package is secure to prevent any damage during transit.
- Drop It Off: Take your package to the nearest USPS or UPS drop-off location. You can find the closest one to you on the UPS website. Please ensure that the package is scanned to avoid delays.
How long does shipping take?
Your wig is typically estimated to arrive within 3-5 business days. If you need your items sooner or would like same day delivery in Atlanta, GA, please note within the comment box at checkout. Our order cutoff time is 3PM EST.
What happens if I lose my return label?
We get it - things happen! If you lose your label, please email us at hello@wellcapped.com or chat us on our website. We will send you a new label right away for you to print at home.
Please note that if you lose your poly-mailer, you are responsible for getting a new one.
What happens if I return my rental late?
When you return something late, it means the next person who was planning on wearing that style no longer can.
Returns must be dropped off with the shipping carrier noted on your return label by 12pm on or before the return date specified in your order. You are liable for any late fees incurred, regardless of any third party involved with the return. Do not leave your returns with any third party (for example, your hotel, mailroom or friend).
If you lose your return label or packaging, you can return your items in any box or mailer, and we will send you another prepaid label free of charge.
Late fee(s) of up to $25 per day will be charged to your card on file for each day that your wig is not returned on time. If you have not returned your wig within 7 days after the return date, your late return will be considered a non-return and WellCapped will charge your payment method on file the current "to buy" price + tax for each wig minus previously paid late fees and sales tax. Please visit our terms and conditions for more information.
Do you ship internationally?
At this time we only ship orders within the U.S., including Hawaii and Alaska. Orders must also be returned from within the U.S.
Can you deliver to a hotel?
Yes! If you're shipping to a hotel, please be sure to write “ATTN: Guest” followed by the full name associated with your room, as well as the hotel name in the “company name” field to ensure your package is delivered correctly. Please also make sure the hotel concierge is expecting your delivery.
Is a signature required for delivery?
No signature required - however, it is your responsibility to provide us with information such as gate/access code instructions or any details that may prevent your package from being delivered. It is also your responsibility to provide us with a safe and secure shipping address. We are not responsible for any packages left unattended.
My package says it was delivered but I can't find it. What now?
If you are ever unable to locate your wig, please email hello@wellcapped.com within 24 hours of the delivery to have an investigation opened immediately.
I accidentally shipped my order to the wrong address, what should I do?
You have the ability to update your address up until your order is processed through your subscription portal. If you are having trouble updating through the portal, please email us immediately at hello@wellcapped.com.
